The One-Eyed Kats is a professional, nine-piece blues/R&B/funk & R&R horn-centric dance band based in the Portland-Vancouver area. OEK has entertained audiences at music fairs, festivals, weddings, and other venues large and small since 2019.
OEK features a wide variety of dance music from the Motown era to present day. We are a reliable and professional group of musicians who have fun and exude energy and excitement to make every performance a party! The full band includes multiple vocalists, guitar, bass, drums, bari sax, tenor sax, harmonica/percussion, trumpet, and trombone! OEK looks forward to entertaining you and your guests! The name "The One-Eyed Kats" comes from one of the original members who had two one-eyed cats (yes, seriously - see photo). It seemed a little obvious for a band name from the moment we all saw them. The One-Eyed Kats operates under the business name of "OEK LLC" for all contractual purposes and will provide a W-9 upon request under this name. |
